"the sky told me a secret"

the sky told me a secret

glitter stars fill me with prophecies

it’s the truth, it’s the truth

it’s true form warms me with gaiety

i am happy

my smile stretched till it breaks and joins the stars

i will join the stars some day, we all will

which star were gifted is the product of our mortal use

you must be happy

give your life to the sky

not enough, smile, make it break so wide and join the stars

you must prove that your worthy

the sky told me the greatest secret

that i am chosen

to perpetually spread its wisdom

breaking smile and i am enlightened

you should too

you have to

you must

or a capture will be upon us

supernovas in the sky

my smile stretches reaching for the blessed light show

you should’ve smiled

but alas, you weren’t chosen

The sky whispered a secret,

its glittering stars split my skull like prayers.

Prophecies dripped down my throat, sweet and burning,

truth’s real face grinned behind constellations.

My smile fractures, spills, claws into the dark.

I will join the stars someday, we all will.

Each one a measure of devotion,

each spark a tally of our worth.

To reach that radiance, you must surrender.

Crack your smile wide enough to bleed

and prove yourself to the sky!

Or be devoured by the silence.

The sky has chosen me,

I spread its words like ash and molasses.

Smile, it says. Break. Transcend.

Those who refuse will vanish, unnamed,

their absence swallowed by supernovas.

My smile bleeds into the blessed light.

You didn’t smile.

You weren’t chosen.
