Imara B. Davis was born and raised in Atlanta and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Nursing from St. Joseph University in Brooklyn, New York City. In addition to writing and acing her courses, she spends her time traveling, planning to travel, or trying new things guaranteed to leave her with a few scabs and a story to tell. She also enjoys learning instruments, discovering niche music, and rollerblading — though preferably not all at once.

Nine to Five is Davis’ debut novel, with many more to come. She plans to create an entire universe of creatures, characters, and stories for her readers, so stay tuned — her ideas never truly rest. While balancing a future career as a travel nurse, she hopes to professionally publish her work and expand her audience across the world.

Her greatest goal as an author is to immerse readers into worlds so gripping they begin questioning reality itself — or what reality could be.
